Loom is a tool that I have chosen to explore out of my own interest. I have recently used Loom for one of my college courses and thought it would be a great technology to do more research about.  What is Loom? Loom is a tool to record and upload videos. You can record with your camera, microphone, and desktop all at the same time. I believe that it is really easy to use. Just a week ago I needed to create a book talk using loom and it took me less than five minutes to do. All that is needed is to create an account and then you can start recording videos. Once you are in your account the recording and uploading process is easy as well. You will start recording and then if you like what you have done you can upload it, or you can delete it and try again. I don't think this technology is that versatile. Legends of learning is a tool that I have chosen to explore out of my own interest.   What is Legends of Learning? Legends of Learning is a technology that provides math and science content for teachers, students, and parents. There are several different games for students to play that are individualized to their learning needs. The games that students will play track their progress so that teachers, and parents can see the progression. Not only do they have games for students to play they provide lesson plans for the teachers. Teachers can even assign games as assignments. I believe kids will love playing games as there homework. I would say that this technology is fairly easy to use. All that is needed is to make an account as a teacher and you can assigns games for your students to play.   Class Dojo is a tool that I have chosen to explore out of my own interest.  What is Class Dojo? Class Dojo is a community of over 50 million teachers and parents that can come together to share all aspects of a students work and achievements. It can be used as a feed for photos and videos for parents to see at home. Class Dojo helps teachers build a positive learning environment for their class. It is free for everyone and can be used for kindergarten all the way up to high school. It is also a safe online community for students to play, learn, and grow. The teacher page is divided into three sections: classroom, class story, and messages. The classroom section allows teachers to track their class' points, and student points. Class Dojo is very easy to use, and organized. All that is needed to start is to set up a class and then have your students join the class. Then they get to create their own avatar. Dreambox is a tool that I have chosen to explore out of my own interest. I interviewed a kindergarten teacher and she said this technology is something that her student's use every single day.  What is DreamBox? Dreambox is an online tool that focuses on mathematic education for the elementary and middle school level. It is a self paced program that provides students with engaging activities and games. It can be used on computers, or iPad platforms. Just like Lexia this a technology that is required for 15 minutes a day in Spokane Public Schools. This technology is very easy to use. It took less than a week for kindergarteners to learn how to use it. Each student has their own QR code that logs them in and once they are logged in they get to start learning. I also believe that it is very versatile. Students can play several games that will test all different types of math skills. They can learn about patterns, ten frames, addition and subtraction, and so many more skills.  I c...

  Lexia is a tool that I have chosen to explore out of my own interest. I interviewed a kindergarten teacher and she said this technology is something that her student's use every single day.  What is Lexia? Lexia is a technology that teaches and assess students about literacy. Lexia is a tool that is being used in many  Spokane school. Teachers are required to have their students use this technology 15 minutes a day. Lexia uses several different methods to teach their students. There are matching games, pattern games, and games to work on spelling and reading. It can teach students with all different learning styles. This is why I believe this technology is versatile. It is also a very easy technology to use. Kindergartners are using this technology every day without having many issues. They have also made the login process for easy for all students to use.
